I had a lady I was playing phone tag with yesterday - we'd never actually spoken on the phone before - return my call at 9:40 and leave a message - never apologizing for the hour of her call. Life could be worse...
but at 7am the neighbor's tree (the one I've been muttering about since the day we moved in) fell into our house. Of M.e. and Dogs...
I'm not a huge dog person. I don't hate them, I just like cats more. And like kids, dogs take a lot more effort than cats. I had one dog that I adored as a child and young teen. She was awesome.
