It might help if we could have a preview of what your diet consists of right now.

When I've had a day of unhealthy eating, I find that drinking a smoothie made up of plain yoghurt (with milk & water to taste), ginger, orange, lemon and honey really helps. It doesn't even have to be in smoothie form, you could also just eat some yoghurt and a lemon instead. And the ingredients are all cheap. You can invest in one cup of yoghurt, and then just make some more by mixing it with milk and letting it ferment for a day or two.

But yeah, citrus fruit, yoghurt, and ginger are my cheap, healthy things in a pinch.

Yogurt for sure. Buy it in the larger containers not self serve because 1) its less waste and 2) its cheaper!! I usually just get a tub of vanilla and mix in frozen fruits or fresh fruits or canned fruits. any work. peaches, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, whatever you like. Not necessarily all in the same meal ( ... )

If you have a windowsill, a balcony, or a garden, you could start growing some of your food yourself. Tomatoes and peppers are easy, as are sallad mixes, basil, beans, and peas. Actually, almost any vegetable can be grown in containers. Even potatoes.

All you might need to buy beside soil and plants/seeds (some of these you can even save from vegetables you buy), and maybe containers, is olive oil and vinegar to dress your yummy self-grown sallads.

I've become a huge fan of green smoothies. I blend up almond milk or coconut water with frozen bananas, blueberries, raspberries, etc. and add a couple of handfuls of spinach, collards, or whatever's on hand. I was scared at first, but they're surprisingly delicious! I sometimes add flax seed or other healthy additions as well.
