Natural Deodorant Disappointment

Oct 15, 2008 13:02

For approximately three months I've been using natural deodorants, but I've had to try three different kinds and have had very little success with any of them. I'd love feedback to know if any of you have had similar problems or if you have any suggestions of alternatives ( Read more... )

I had the same experience with the apricot. I haven't found anything yet either.

Arm and Hammer's natural deodorant works the best so far out of all of the deodorants I've tried.

No problemo I've been using it for a couple months now.. It's not the MOST natural but it's the best working closest to natural stuff I've come by. It's not super sticky like the other ones and it doesn't wear off as soon as you sweat a little bit. Of course you will have to reapply it more than conventional deodorant but that's the way it is.

doesn't arm & hammer make deodorant? would that be considered not natural? the other one you can try is burts bees spray deodorant. although my boyfriend calls it salad dressing cause it smells herbally. but i like the smell.

I just purchased this last week, and have been using it for 4 days now with FABULOUS results. I live in SW FL so I truly put deodorant to the extreme test daily...

I've used Tom's before (years ago) and had a terrible burning reaction to whatever the main ingredient is...
I've pretty much had the burning skin sensation with any/all natural deodorants I've ever purchased OTC come to think of it... I have super sensitive skin.

I live in Fla and the baking soda deodorant is pretty good. (arm & hammer)

both my best friend and my boyfriend used Toms and both had that same reaction. It was pretty yucky. =(... Too bad, too.... I guess Toms WAS too good to be true.
