Curtis and I have been looking at buying some vegetarian/vegan cookbooks. They have such whole, complete and nutritious meals.

What I like about Moosewood is they also take the time to explain. Like what is in tofu, what are the benefits of soy, what makes these veggies go wrong, how to make your potatoes have a different texture...and it's really good reading.

Have you read this? If so what did you think? After reading that Randy won't come near the stuff although I'm trying to convince him a little is ok.

I have.
I think they make very good points. The cultures that eat 'soy regularly' eat very little... we have soy shakes, soy bars, tofu, all sorts of stuff. It can do a lot of damage if you're not careful. Soy definately has some benefits, but you have to be good about your intake.

I was going to make a post (I'm always "meaning" to do things and never do) asking about recommendations for vegitarian cookbooks. Thanks ;D

Do you know where I might look to find it? Or can you find it online?
