I bet you'll like the book. It's pretty different than anything I've ever read, though. You can definitely tell how the author tried to be very meticulous about the historical accuracy, as far as a fictional novelization can go.

You are a shining star! You rock!

Go go gadget tags, go!

There is a pest control guy in my backyard and I am not dressed and my drapes in my bedroom are kind of sheer. Gonna go hide now. :)

I can't believe that you and Joelle are hanging around commenting on my spam posts.

Tags are so much fun, and I officially approve of any testing-spam that involves their use.

Also, I should really read The Girl with the Pearl Earring. I think it's on one of my Lists.

Did you see the movie? Becca said it wasn't as good after reading the book, and I thought the film was excellent. So maybe you should rent it (it has Colin Firth!) and then read the book.

No, I haven't seen the movie yet. I actually forgot it ever was a movie for a second there. :) Hmm, sounds like the way to maximize enjoyment is to do the book second, then...

I did enjoy the movie, I just noticed a lot of stuff that was left out. (You can never fit all the cool stuff from a book into a movie.) There were things that happened that were really significant, but only if you knew the backstory of a certain object that was never mentioned in the movie, so they didn't seem so significant in the movie. Does that make sense?
