Welcome to the fandom! I havn't had time to read your fic yet (althogh it sounds very interesting from the summary!), but I wanted to go ahead and point out two things. First, you accidentally linked to your whole journal instead of just the fic - it's the only thing there I see right now, but it would be a pity if it got buried by more of your fics later. The link should be http://okami-no-kage.livejournal.com/606.html . Secondly, at the fic itself, it looks like LJ ate the space between your author's note and the start of the fic - I scrolled past it twice looking for the end of the note. It might be better to put in a divider, a line of dashes or sommat.

Thanks for pointing this out. I realised that on other peoples journals, a journal entry links to a story. I can seem to create a story page as when I try to post it only gives me the options to post a journal entry or a poll. Can you tell me how to post a story page?

You posted an entry, which is what you needed to do! It's just that you didn't link to it. After you hit 'Post' and go to your journal, click on the title that you entered as 'Subject' while you were posting - this will take you to the entry page itself. Copy what's in your Address Bar then, and use that as the link.
