Gilbert had been itching to get out of the house since one hour ago forever. Finally! He wasn't even allowed near Ludwig, since the blond had been sick for the past few days, and he had been cooped up by his parents to do homework. Using his awesome ninja skills, he was out the window and down the tree in no time, homework lying forgotten under his bed.

His glee, however, was short-lived, when he caught sight of a scrawny boy on his swing.

"HEY YOU! GET OFF OF MY SWING!" He pointed at the other indignantly, cheeks slightly red and puffed out.

She looked up immediately as the accusation came flying in her direction. The girl looked left, then right, then noticed that she was the only one on the swings. Not to mention that there were four other open swings. So this boy, hardly older than herself by the looks of it, thought that he could own a swing? While he wasn't a stuffy German kid, he certainly was one that like to make noise. Stuffy and noisy German kids. Man this was going to be a boring summer vacation.

"I don't see your name on it anywhere," she returned, her German a bit shaky and quite accented. "Are you sure that one isn't yours?" she pointed to a swing two spots to her right. It was half falling off of the chain that held it to the giant rig, and in no position to be sat on. Why bother too long with this one--he'd just prove to be a bit boring in the long run. Like all other German kids.

What was he, stupid? Obviously Gilbert was talking to him! Alright, so he's foreign, but it's obvious he understands German and doesn't know how things work around here.

"Peh! You're dumb! Only losers get swings like that." Gilbert glared at the other pointedly. "I'm awesome enough that my name doesn't need to be on it! Everyone knows it's my swing!"

Ehh?! What? What kind of insult was that? Even some of the farm hands could think of better insults! "Only dumb people use dumb insults like that!" Elizaveta returned, pointing a finger in the boy's direction though she kept the other hand clutching at the chain to the swing. "Apparently all the other kids 'round here are just as dumb as you. You can't put a name on a park swing!"

And, just to prove her point, she started to swing. Glaring at him the whole time with a rather smug look of I'm using your swing.
