Way happy~

'Kay, like, I know people are like, "It's not the tree's fault" or whatever, but like it totally has to go 'cos I'm trying to make a road, right? So, like, when we cut it down I'll totally make sure it gets used for like, way cool stuff.

. . . Like, firewood.

Just saw it earlier today. kenichi_bokushi July 12 2009, 10:06:54 UTC
Of course, and I would say it's a rather *snicker snicker* accurate representation of what probably goes on behind closed doors in Austria's house. *laughs*

I am glad to see the humour did not go over the heads of some of the Austrian people, though.

United Kingdom, I do not appreciate your having contrived such a garish caricature. In jest or no, I'd have thought even you would exercise more sound judgement!

The entire point of the film was to create a satire that would also expose the intolerance and prejudice still inherent in modern-day society while making the audience laugh at his antics. Such an extreme character was necessary to pull latent emotions out of people. I guess my brand of humour (not unlike any other brand of humour) went right over your head, and it's not my fault that the concept of satire is completely foreign to you. I already know that irony is, given your inability to understand why the fact that you have a village called "Fucking" is positively hilarious. Not only that, the character is so obviously a caricature that anybody who is watching and thinks that all Austrians or all gay people are like that is, quite simply, too much of an idiot to be part of the target audience for this film -- and precisely the type of person that was vilified in this film ( ... )

Perhaps; however, I would never be so callous as to exploit such a recent tragedy for humor's sake.

For all your insistence regarding my failure to comprehend, I believe we have discussed this particular question ad nauseam, yet you persist in your delinquent ways.

I concur with my ambassador Emil Brix entirely: "Bruno" is improper and unsuitable. The film is crass to say the least. I found the allusion to Josef Fritzl particularly tasteless considering the incident is a nightmare of such recent memory. (Adolf Hitler, admittedly less so; though I do not recall my past experience with the Nazis without considerable regret, it is far enough behind me I feel negative associations have softened to the point where my citizens are able to laugh.)

I have aggressively campaigned to improve my tarnished image in the international community of late; such depictions in the media have only served to enforce negative stereotypes, aiding to make my efforts yet more difficult.
