Today was another example of Bimfoodle's fondness of pregnant shrews. This is the third time that he tried to bring a pregnant shrew (perhaps the only kind of shrew he can catch, because shrew that are not giving birth have the sense to flee) into the house. At least that's a clean process! My snakes are very quick with their mice and they never leave innards lying around!

I hadn't thought of that.
I meant that my cat leaves, um...
"broken" snakes and mice laying around.
She plays with them until they quit playing back,
I guess...

I'd hate to see a confrontation between my cat and either of my snakes... I think the cat would just sit on the snake and squash him to win.

That is pretty eww, but also pretty fascinating. I'm glad Fergus is too old and fat and lazy to bother with killing things! He used to leave mouse guts all over the house, but I don't think he could catch one anymore, let alone disembowel it.

Sometimes it's a hassle that Chibi can't go outside -- for instance, when the doors have to be open for some time. But most of the time, I'm glad he stays indoors. :)
