Bimfoodle was lying on the couch when I started up the vacuum cleaner. It was all in his eyes.

"Human! I was having the nappiest of naps! Why did you have to bring the noise-machine into my room?! Take it away! Away, I tell you!" And then he fled upstairs.

She has settled in nicely, as expected. Over the past few days, the minimum safe distance shrank from two meters down to zero and now Emma is comfortable enough to be fed without problems, to be picked up, petted and even to sit in laps, and of course, chase Bimfoodle around the house when he's being an ass ( Read more... )

The silver ninja just arrived in our house with her own toilet and her own food. Bimfoodle has been restless all day because we're not letting him out into the yard while the gardeners are out there with motorised gear. I was lonely in bed last night, the husband is in Germany for work. So I stopped tossing and turning to go downstairs. Bimfoodle blinked at me with sleepy eyes, but he met me in the kitchen all the same. Another blue tit! I certainly don't hope this is going to be a daily occurrence from now on. Eating raw birds wreaks hell on Bimfoodle's toilet habits.

Still, I'm proud of the way he brought the bird inside for me to see, and then took it outside to eat it when I told him so. I'll make a well-behaved cat out of him yet.

Bimfoodle just brought a blue tit into the house. He was thrilled with his catch and broke its neck on the floor. I was quietly working on my Parthfinder campaign notes when Bimfoodle stalked in through the back door with a young blackbird in his mouth. You all remember the blood and gore from his previous adventure with a pregnant shrew. Today was another example of Bimfoodle's fondness of pregnant shrews.
