As a huge fan of murder mysteries, this episode quickly became part of my top 5, hands down. The reveal was actually interesting and took me by surprise (the cop, not the daughter), which is rare. What was not to like about this Job? Eliot grifted (terribly), Parker and Hardison were adorably not neglected, Sophie in that dress should be illegal because dayum, and Nate... Goodness, Nate was amazing.
Hell, the whole team was amazing. Like Nate pointed out towards the end, every single member had that one second where they thought Nate killed that person. They are still raw and dealing with all the issues of second season. The con was still there in the background, but it didn't overwhelm. I like the new direction Leverage is taking with this season, and by the greatness of these two episodes, all I can say is that this season is going to rock!

But I concur that the direction this season is awesome, and I loved the doubts shown regarding Nate.
And Eliot as a terrible grifter? WIN

1) Nate is really screwed up, and I love it.
2) Eliot is so done with Nate's drinking, and I love it.
3) "You and me are gonna have a little talk." GUH. The tension between Nate and Eliot this season is fantastic.
4) Eliot's hat was cute. I don't care what anyone says.
5) One of my Top Five episodes.
