Wow, you get to do animations in Year 12? Is it a flash animation? I remember, the only thing I ever got to animate was a circle moving across the screen. I guess I could've done something more elaborate, but I wasn't a fan of animating anything. ...Wait, I lied. I made a Decarabia roll across the screen.
Actually... we get to do anything we want, really, so long as the teacher approves of the concept and we can get it done within the timespan of November-August. I'm doing stopmotion animation using paper and photoshop... possibly photography... which will kill... All 6 minutes of it. Actually, I wanted to do a work that had multi-canvas + sculpture but my teacher pretty much forced me to do animation. Yay XD
Oh G-god. That sounds like quite the project. Are you working on it alone? Why'd the teacher want you to do animation? And speaking of photography + animation, I think this video is totally rad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogharitmxSc
...Yeah. What happens in Year 12 for us is that we all get to choose our own little project and that will be THE thing we do all year round and it's 50% of our total mark in art this final year, the other 50% is theory work. 80% of it has to be done at school... and yeah. My teacher seems to think I'm more inclined towards the digital aspect of art which is... pretty BS since I like working with my hands.
Oh wow, that video is amazing~ thanks for the link
