So we all know Danny Mahealani from Teen Wolf, right? Well, I've been having ALL THE DANNY FEELS lately, which isn't entirely accurate, because I think I've had all the Danny feels since I realized that he was a character that existed. I definitely think we need a Danny Bang, haha. I stumbled upon, a while, a Danny comment fest that was hosted a while ago, and people seemed pretty into it. I feel like there are so many other fests going on right now though, but maybe some time. I'd be down.

I have to say after the first time I watched the show I wasn't overly fond of Danny. Then again I wasn't fond of most of characters then. After reading plenty of fics and re-watching the show I know love pretty much everyone XD But yes, Danny definitely needs more fans. I have to say that, while I think he is really nice guy, I sometimes get annoyed when people write him as always nice and close to saint. I mean, canon Danny is nice, sure, but he is also pretty sassy and quick with witty replies. (I personally love the moment, when he tries to warn Jackson to not try lifiting too much, but when Jackson is being stubborn, Danny replies that if he kills himself, Danny's taking the Prosche. ;D)

I would love to see more fics with Danny. Not necessarily gen ones, I'm getting into Danny/Isaac ship, so I'd love to see more of those fics, obviously. But I'm also great fan of Jackson and Danny friendship, because I think it's one of the best and most interesting friendships of the show. :)))

I totally agree about the writing Danny as a saint. I really do think he's a genuinely nice guy, but that doesn't mean that he only says nice things and is like the most gentle person ever. He has a definite spark, and can be really sharp and witty and that's why I love him. One doesn't cancel out the other.

I've read a few Issac/Danny fics. I'm kind of hesitant though with Issac/anyone fics, because I worry how inexperienced writers may handle his past abuse, so tend to wait for recs. I do really like that pairing too, though, there are some quality fics. I'm hoping with Issac having more of a role next season we'll get more Danny/Issac and just Issac/anyone fics. I'd like to see his character explored as well.

And yeah, I'm not the biggest Jackson fan, but I really do love Danny's and Jackson's friendship. It's very genuine and realistic.

I love Danny and I def love the approach to his character the creators took. They could have gone the typical "sassy, flamboyant- comedically safe" route but chose *gasp* OMG regular person just like everyone else.
I'm really excited that he's going to be a bigger part of the show next season.

Exactly!! He's not like the ~token~ or a stereotype, and it's so so refreshing. I like how he's almost the most settled character on the show.

Danny getting more screen time is probably in the top two things that I'm excited about for next season.

Right!? When I watched with my sister she had the same reaction of "Oh thank GOD normal representation instead of the regular BS." *tear* I'm so proud of my sister. xD

Word on all the reasons to love Danny. He's such a great character, especially because we've only been given glimpses of who he is. For a supporting character, we have a surprisingly large breadth of knowledge about him.

Exactly, we know a lot! And I want to know more. Everything I learn about him, and all his scenes just leave me wanting more. Hopefully we'll get it in season 3.

Let's hope! Until then, there needs to be more fanfic. There can't be enough Danny fanfic.

Yes! They did a really good job with Danny's character, and I'm looking forward to more. I'm still a little worried about the rumored romantic relationship, mostly because I really just want it to be genuine and not manipulative. But we'll see, I definitely have a lot of hope!

Jeez, yes, I WANT TO KNOW IT ALL. And I want to foster a super active Danny fandom. I think that with season 3, we'll start to see it more. I really want more people to get more excited about his character, because I think we all do like him for the most park, but I want more love and squee and fanwork!
