Yesterday i was so happy. i went to my local DVD store (which is a franchise) and found the DVD 'Letters from Iwo Jima'. i never thought it would be possible to a) find it locally when i was looking to buy it on ebay and b) that it was so cheap, it was part of a special and cost me $7. it made my day ^_^

Yesterday at work one of my coworkers was late, so they only people working was my assistant manager, a girl who was on her third shift working there and a girl who was on her very first shift. i celebrated my friend's 20th birthday last night. There was around 35 of us having dinner at the pub and then 16 of us went and did karaoke. it was so much fun. i got to meet new people, some that go to my uni and are in my course. it was really fun talking and singing all night, although i had to leave at 10:30. so that i could stay later my ( Read more... )

Tomorrow morning i have to create my schedule for University. It's a really stressful process. It's not like some uni's that let you choose preferences from already made timetables. My older is 21 and has moved out of home. When he first left i really noticed he was gone and realised what i enjoyed most about his company. I'm slowly getting used to him not being at home anymore, but i really miss him.

i was planning to read books during my holidays as well as fangirl over arashi but i haven't really been able to because i got a job. Finally i got my first job, i do have to catch a 35-40 minute train (plus a tram) to get there but its good, now i can save money. i only have two weeks of holidays left and i'm working Monday - Friday next week. i am so excited to have received my First high distinction in university doing a spring course during my holidays in Nov-Dec last year. i hope i can do it again this year :)
