Lots of reposting

I'm sure I won't post that often for long, but hey, it's fun while it lasts!

I'm reposting the watercolour (sort of) sketch I did for sketching_daily today. Another one of the view from our window, as the weather has again turned back to windy, if not that cold. Not that I'm complaining, it's the kind of wind that brings some rain and we need it ( Read more... )

I love your HP picture. Baby!Snape watching his mother make potions is so vivid--this is the picture I'll remember.

And your sketch is lovely too!

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked the HP pic.

After all, Snape must have had some good times too :)

And thanks for the sketch!

Oh, those are both very lovely! I love watching clouds, so hearing about your efforts to paint them is very interesting.

And the Snape painting is so wonderful. He's so very small, and there's so much motion with the potion and fire. Beautiful.

Thanks a lot! I really love clouds too and my compulsion to watch them has only worsened since I learned paragliding. This is one of the reasons this sketch frustrated me a bit! But I'll do some more and one day, the pic in my mind will look like the pic on the paper :)

And thank you for the Snape picture too, I'm glad you liked it. This is one of the pics I remember enjoying a lot to paint.

Okay, that Prince pic is just ADORABLE. His mother was quite the inspiration, wasn't she?

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.

Heh, I'm sure even Snape had role models somewhere :)

Thanks a lot! I'm really glad you liked. And especially that you liked the lighting! As you can see it's another instance of me using purple tones and of course, wondering if I should really have done so. But I have to say that painting this one was a lot of fun :)

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked.

I guess I decided young Severus was quite used to large cauldrons early on :)
