He knew he should get home and eat. He was certainly hungry enough. Izume had happily proclaimed that morning that she was going to make her famous Curry Rice, too. It would be rude to eat elsewhere.
(
And yet the urge to stay out all night was nearly overwhelming. )

And this time it was her famous Curry Rice! She could cook it with her eyes closed and hands tied (actually did once, on a dare from Kotsuki-- it actually tasted a lot better than usual, huh) so, really, no bad!
Humming quite happily to herself, Izume proceeded to scoop three portions of the curry rice in their prospective bowls.
She checked the pot when she was done. Yep! No burns!
It would be a good night indeed.

"Smells spicy, Izume-chan." He took his usual seat since this arrangement had started - it was actually kinda nice to have groceries bought and dinner made by someone else - and rested his arms on his lap. "How much curry paste did you use?" Perhaps trying to add some humor to the conversation would lighten the mood for a time.
He could hope.

"Enjoy~!" she chirped happily and took her own seat with her bowl in hand. "I think I've nearly gotten it perfect this time.."
