Glaring at everyone's cheerful countenances and feeling very uncomfortable (having rarely been to "parties"), she slinked off to a corner to sulk.

"You two should find somewhere you can't be seen when Sakurai walks in," was all the blond said, leaving it up to her. He had too much of a head ache to deal with Sachiko's stubbornness.

She beamed at everyone as she easily balanced the boxes (fudge under cake) in her hands. She was wearing fitted green pants (legwarmers covering her ever-present weights) and a matching, loose-fitting long-sleeved pullover shirt while her braid was tied with the green ribbon Sakurai-kun had given her for White Day. "Where do you want me to put them?" she asked Inosuke.

"And movement," Hoshino mumbled bitterly as she trudged in her new dress and shoes. Hoshino found it horrible uncomfortable to run in heels, especially since she had never worn a pair of womanly shoes. Except for that time when...
Ding-dong! Hoshino finally made it to Inosuke's house, only five minutes early. How disgraceful.
Hoshino adjusted her dress slightly as it had began to slip whist running, took her present from under her arm and waiting for someone to answer the door.

"Hi! Um, come in. Thanks for coming, you look very nice," he stumbled over his words, torn between awe and amusement. Inosuke was sure she wouldn't have appreciated any sort of laughter.

So rather than dress in his usual gear, he just threw on a red tank-top and shorts, leaving his hair tied back and his reading glasses on (he might want to read the book on the way back home, after all).
Cracking his neck, Sakurai knocked on the door to his friend’s house and waited. Not that he needed to, they’d been friends long enough he could come and go as he pleased, but he always felt it was impolite to just barge in. Unless he was going through Inosuke’s window.

"Yo, thanks for coming, this math problem was really getting to be a pain. I thought if anyone could solve it you could," Inosuke opened the door into the darkened house for Sakurai to come in.
Any second now, he would get the surprise of his life.
