It had taken some time to do and it was a few days past Sakurai's birthday, but this played perfectly into Inosuke's plans. Under the guise of only getting him a romance novel for his birthday and asking him to come over to help him with some math problem (ha, like Inosuke actually did math-- well he only did when he was adding up his shopping

There was a loud BANG closeby, and glitter and streamers in bright colors suddenly filled the air. The culprits, a team of blondes in blue sundresses, aslo burst in a sparkling cloud. Out of which Naruko hopped.

She grinned, laughing, her long pigtails wrapped with blue satin ribbon to match her dress. "Happy birthday, Sakurai-kun~!"

Sakurai jumped in surprise (some ninja he was), glasses almost falling off his face. Of all the things he’d expected from Inosuke, a surprise party (days after the fact) was not one of them. Especially a surprise party with Naruko and Leigh. Though he’d bitch and moan to Inosuke later, no doubt, he was honestly happy to see the two girls were there.

The blush that spread across his face clashed horribly red with his pink hair, and for once he found himself speechless.

"Happy Birthday~!" Leigh continued in a sing-song voice, finding Sakurai-kun horribly adorable with a flushed face.

"..." Sachiko exclaimed excitedly.

Sachiko appeared behind Leigh and Naruko, wincing from their horrible screeches of "surprise." She nodded at Sakurai in greeting.
