Thanks for all your help with the music at the ball! You sounded great, and I'm glad that you enjoyed it. As for the bardic; do stop beating yourself up for taking care of your own needs. There will be other good times and good music to share!

It was certainly my pleasure and my HONOR. I know in my head that it's ok to take care of my own needs, but I always have that fear of not doing enough or pulling my weight in the Barony. Stupid, I know. I guess it's all part of that "performance for acceptance" thing I keep working on. Thanks for your affirmations, Galern - you are so special.

Check out the book Eating in the Light of the Moon. I got it on Amazon. It talks about weight, feelings, binge eating, eating disorders, etc. and was really helpful to me in looking inside of myself. I'm still working on things, but I feel a lot more connected as to why and how I am what I am.

I've never heard of that one. I will definitely look into it. Thanks for the help!

Loosing weight is hard and that is why the diet industry is making money hand over fist. Just remember that you are not alone in the way you feel and the struggle you face. So many of us KNOW how to loose weight and yet it is so hard to do.

If it is any consolation my first (and only) impression of you physically didn't include you being over weight. Sure most people could use to shed a few pounds but I certainly didn't look at you and see someone who needed to drop a bunch of weight.

On that note I think I might actually try to make a healthy lunch for a change.

Thanks so much for saying that Victoria. I needed to hear that and it was very encouraging.

Wow - That's a lot of stuff! First - You did one of the best jobs ever with Newcomers. There were A LOT of them and some of the most unusual newcomers I have met in a long time. Kudos!

On the other - I will be your support friend and help so let me know what motivation/nagging you want and I am on your team.

If only bars would have healthy nibbles!

Thank you so much, Pippa. I really am going to try to come up with a real workable plan, and I'll let you know when I do. I need all the support I can get! (I know! Does a Bloody Mary count as a veggie serving?)

Only if you eat the celery!

We'll miss you at the movie but I plan to have a girly day soon and we can compare notes on best dates.

P.S. - I have the scroll, some loaner feast gear and a roll of rope that Wystan asked me to return to you.

you are a beautiful and powerful woman. If you want to lose some weight, you will. Because you are powerful. But you will be beautiful whether you do or not.

By the way, the Brassiere you gave me is lovely, too.

Nice job on newcomers point, BTW. I heard from two different newbies how special they were made to feel because of their reception. You were the biggest part of that. That is what the dream is all about.

Dunstan - you are truly a wordsmith, as you always say just the right thing. You're precious. Thank you.
