This is really good! So complex, and they all really have to be such adults even though they're still teenagers. Poor Edmund and his winter woes :( and Lucy and the paperwork, haha. The one-sided Peter/Susan was so subtle but just all the more heartbreaking, when Peter holds his breath till she's gone. I'm really impressed, this is one of the best ruling-Narnia-is-complicated fics I've read!

This is awesome! I don't know if I can fully describe how awesome I think this is.

I love how the entire fic covers day-to-day occurrences and the way the Pevensies run Narnia (it makes me really happy for some reason that Lucy gets lauded all the paperwork), but at the same time it's so telling of the Pevensies and all their angst and problems (Edmund's past! *wibbles* Susan giving up things for her country--such a queen!). And they're characterizations. Just them being themselves.

"They know I don't like tomatoes," she said, shaking her head until her hair fuzzed out like a mane.

And Lucy here is so adorable! She's still childish and happy, and Edmund recognizes that and tells her to eat her veggies like a good older brother, but at the same time she's giving letters of marques to pirates and ordering the deaths of people (Aslan taught them how to kill! How awesome is that?)...WOW. ♥

Ooooh, it was good and it was chilling and it was A DAY IN THE LIFE OF PEVENSIES and I loved every word. Beautifully constructed and nicely characterized. I enjoyed all four (Edmund, as always, especially). Great piece!
