The Burning of the Trousers! Ha!

This has been a wonderfully fun ride; thank you for writing and sharing the story. :-)

And yes, the trousers were the whole reason for Jill writing the story in the first place!

I'm so glad you enjoyed reading this story, as I certainly had fun writing it. Thank you also for your wonderful reviews. :)

I positively adore Setev. The Squirrel.

Brava! That was great fun--politics and adventure and espionage, with silly drunken escapades as well.

I loved the Hawai'ian-ness of it, with the leeward & windward sides of the island, and the pineapples and all the names.

What a fun story, and I really liked Eustace and Jill's gifts as well--creative & useful, and yet very distinct from the Pevensies'.

Oh, and Setev, the mongoose who thinks he's a squirrel! he was simply wonderful.

Thank you! Politics are never my strong suit so it was certainly an adventure fitting them into the plot.

And yes, obviously a very strong Hawai'ian influence went into the setting for this story. It was quite interesting writing in a different sort of setting for a Narnia-world based story.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

I'm so glad everything worked out in the end for everyone (well, except for the Ambassador). It's good to see that Eustace and Jill's new friends ended up with their new positions; for common folk, they were very business-savvy and it was thanks to them that a solution for the trade agreement worked out for both sides.

And LOL, the Burning of the Trousers must have been very fun indeed. I'm sure Eustace relished the prospect of watching them burn into nothing but ashes. :-)

This was one of my favourite chapters to write for so many reasons - the Burning of the Trousers (as well as the set-up) was a hoot to work towards, and it was such fun to find out where all the characters ended up afterward. I'm so glad you enjoyed the story, and thank you for your reviews! :)

They BURNED the trousers?? BURNED THEM. FOR SHAME. Oh Eustace. You had no sense of honor or style.

Setev is wonderful and I loved Isak and his hats. A marvelous, fun story, Winged. You did a great job on it.

Hahaha yes, yes they did. And you'll really have to blame Jay for that one. Just imagine the satisfaction Eustace got from that.

Again, I'm so glad you liked Setev, and also Isak. Thank you so much for reviewing as you went through it, and also again for your input as I was working towards completion!
