Happy Birthday! I hope the rest of your day panned out without so much kicking and screaming.

Oh, and Happy Pi Day, too. Have a pie!

Happy birthday, hope your 23rd gets a bit better. I'll be down on 4th Ave tonight as well. Which bar are you going to be at?

You're going to go to Surly Wench?!?! I'm so proud! I wish I could be there. I hate being poor.

Also, I wish I could fill you in on your 2004 birthday, but honestly I can't remember. I remember your 2005, 2006, and 2007 birthdays, of course. You had a murder mystery dinner for your 2005 birthday as well (The Halloween-ish one where I had to play a Frankenstein type character).

"...my parents made up this rule that we were only allowed to have a birthday party every two years so we wouldn't become spoiled... We probably had dinner at Olive Garden, which was my favorite restaurant."

Um. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? My parents kept us from being spoiled by being poor. Also: child abuse. Loads and loads of abuse. But Olive Garden? I would have given up every other birthday party I ever had for dinner at an Olive Garden at age 8.

Hey, I'm not complaining. I liked that rule. It made the few parties I had really special, and I got to spend the rest of them with my family.
