What part of the glee fandom don't you like? This is not me looking for wank or to disagree, I just have a sort of off taste in my mouth when thinking of glee fandom, but I can't put a name to it, and am hoping someone better with words than me will do so for me...? Sorry if I'm rude, my head hurts :\ :P

I am sad to let dragons go, but if there's one reason to do so, your reason is the one. Often times I can't even imagine how people begin to put themselves in the headspaces necessary to write the darkest and best angst... I'm glad to hear Blarry is not off the table :)

My problem with Glee fandom, I think, mostly boils down to how much the fandom doesn't actually like the show. I've been a fan of a lot of terrible shows (christ, I spent my summer hiatus burying myself in a pile of Stargate: Atlantis fic), but I've never been in a fandom that invests so much of its time and energy ranting about how bad and wrong the source material is. It's exhausting. It's just hard to take. For me, anyway--that might or might not be your thing!

Thanks for being understanding etc. I'm usually very good with angst, but this kind of sustained helplessness...yeah no.

I agree with the negative fandom thing, it's pretty intense seeing how much people invest in being angry. I love alot of pairings (omg I love Atlantis, and the fic is so much more then the show.
I guess I usually like fandom and fic because it allows everyone to find what they might feel like is missing in the source material, and that's why I don't understand the hate. These things may mean alot to us but in the end its all just a show, and if in the end the emotions people have are anger then I dont think its worth it. Thats why I stay away from the hate and blacklist anything negative, life is too short, stay positive peeps! Also, I love Blarry! Your fantastic!

it's good to see that you are okay and healthy! i will admit that it's heartbreaking to see dragons go, but if that's what you need to stay healthy and happy, that's way more important.

Thanks! I might try to put up a synopsis of the rest of the story at some point, for a little more closure. We'll see.

I won't lie, my heart is breaking to see Dragons go. It is so very good, but I get it. Is there anyway you could maybe post your notes or head canon on where it would have gone? If not, I totally get that to. I can't write and have the utmost respect for those who not only can but share their labors with us.

That's an idea I might look into at some point, because I do have a whole ton of headcanon left here. Of course, half of it is about things like how the tribes celebrate seasons and holidays and burial rituals for the battle-dead, but...we'll see.
