oh jen, i'm so sorry. but... gainesville will make it all better- i'm sooo soooo sooooooooo excited to see you!!!!!!!!! tonight, hazel and i thought up all kinds of fabulous things to do and you are going to have a blast!
i'm sorry that you're stuck in the south. i wish i could say that i'll make it all better, but it turns out that i'm not going to be in gainesville for new years. or while you're here at all, that is.
i subbed for like a year and loveeeeed it. its only like fifty bucks a day or so, but its really easy work and a lot of the time you dont even have to be there for the full six or so hours but you get paid as if you were. i only subbed part-time and only at two schools, but the work was pretty consistent (you give them the list of days you are available to be called in and the schools that you are willing to go to)... and once you get to know the secretaries at each school you can get more jobs and sometimes pre-book some of your days (instead of being called the morning of) which is really nice. id recommend it.... :)
