Nothing says happy Christmas like Ron in a dungeon.

I give you 20,000+ words of darkish Ron and Hermione hurt/comforty stuff.
This is TMBlue's fault. She encouraged me, and wanted to see how it ended :)

Oh, SQUEE!! I'll have to wait till I'm home again tomorrow, b/c this hotel's wi-fi is slower'n' Christmas, but oh how awesome!!!

Yay YOU!!!

Bless your heart :) It's a bit darker than my other attempts at fic, but there's smut to make it all better :)
I should probably mention it's rather hard R/ NC17ish.

I won't really be able to read much till I finish school crap next week, but then I'll be able to enjoy it properly.

And R/NC17 sounds perfectly okay to me! LOL!!

Having just finished Shari's ESSM I'm kinda digging the angsty/hurt/comfort vibe, and if you've written it, well, instant download! :D

Also, bitchin cover design. Helvetica FTW! *is now doubting font recognition, posts anyway*

You're such a font nerd!

I should have given you a Christmas card in Comic sans or papyrus!

I actually pulled an involuntary face at those two font names. :)

"I was reading ESSM and then set about writing myself and was like 'phffffft, why are you bothering?"

Omg! Bother! Do! Yes please :)
*adores you bothering to write*

That. iMac.
Holy shit it's sexy.

I will try and bother, I'm picking something up I started a while ago so I have some momentum!

I got Snow Leopard installed and guess what? The app is only available on Lion. *sighs* however this in itself has forced me to start using inDesign, which is something I never thought I'd ever do *is a Quark girl* and I managed to get 80 pages (first 5 chapters oh LSTTL) PDFd, however because I've used Helvetia bold (teh awesome) and because I've recreated a tube map it's very graphical, so basically it looks like I've ripped off your cover entirely! *rolls eyes* Ah well! At least there has been progress!

Ack, my cover looks like I've ripped of a Penguin book cover, and I so love doing that; so no worries. Yours will look far better than mine :) I AM SO HAPPY TO HEAR YOU'RE PROGRESSING ON THE BOOK. InDesign won my heart. I was a quark girl for ages... And sadly a page maker one before that. Indesign wrapped up the best bits of both at the time I switched over to it.

Lord, I do love Helvetica Black. It's the sanest bold font ever made. As much as I adore Futura, the black is too clunky and rounded for my tastes. And Frutiger Blacks are just a bit too ornate for a self-respecting sanserif. Good, bold, legible, reasonable fonts are so hard to find. :)

Seriously. You have no idea how excited I got upon seeing that this was posted. I'm reading now and just shivering with anticipation.

"Those were the borders of their world." I had forgotten that line. I love it. I love all of this.

Let me just pop back over mid-read to tell you how much I love Ron's "Sides" for "Besides" :D

...As I was :)
