The owing George a galleon line may be my favorite thing I've ever typed, lol. I've had to have stolen that from someone, it's too funny for me to have come up with :)
Guh, I'm grinning like an idiot at my phone. Thank you. It's as much fun reading you enjoy it as writing it.
//"Sorry 'bout how we met. I'm a nice bloke once you get to know me,"
Oh, that's fantastic.
//"Guh," he replied.
AHHHH!!!
And... and the scar thing at the end. And the blood... kind of a call back, in a way.
I fucking loved this. That's all there is to it. I am so, so happy to have it all finished and in pdf format on my computer. It's just... the best gift. Really. Happy Christmas to all of fandom.
oncelikeshari so wins best gift of 2012, but thank you, sweetheart :)
Ron deserves a better writer than me, but Lord, I do love trying to write him. I'm so glad you got a grin out of it :)
And yes, my apologies to his poor head, but ever since I stumbled across the image of his iron bed at the burrow a few months ago, I knew the story had to end right there with bloodshed of some drastically less horrible nature than in the earlier chapters. It felt like the right bookend :)
"Those were the borders of their world." I had forgotten that line. I love it. I love all of this.
