i can see!
it's been a week since my lasik. the redness in my left eye is gone! yay!
there was no pain... at all. but i really hated it when they "cleaned" my eyes to prepare them for the operation.
but it was all worth it.

actually last year we went to a focolare meeting and chiara got slapped by this psychotic 2 yr old. that girl, came and gave chiara a hug, right after which she slapped chiara hard on the first. waaaaa imaagine my fury. i wannted to give the kid a kick, but haiz... wat can you do... it's a 2 yr old! so i just comfort chiara.
i met her again at this meeting and i remember that face! i was tempted many times to trip the kid, or to accidentally kick her.

there are some things about their style that scares me. hahaha... but overall, the people i meet are really nice. they would go out of their way to help, without expecting anythign in return. which works for me, hahaha... until they expect something in return.
but yah.. there are aspects that i dun understand about them and don't seek to.
i'm really uncomfortable when people there ask what chiara's name is. i think some people think i very "da dan" (daring) to name my daughter like their leader. watever.
