I'm so glad Mortimer survived his injury. I know he becomes (is?) a prisoner of war, and that eventually the sub sinks, but I have hopes you'll be able to rewrite history as you did with Band of Brothers and give these two a happy ending.

I wanted to thank you again for the links. Unfortunately, my antivirus program got really pissy and wouldn't let me access the site. I've been reading about it, however, and it's so sad when honorable men serve under dishonorable men. :`-(

Well I couldn't let him die - that would have ended this fic way too early ^__^ You're right, he is a prisoner of war and is handed over to the German MP at the end of the movies, and we don#t know what happens to him. And U-156 was indeed sunk in 1943. But hey, you know me, I'm good at keeping the real events while still twisting them so that they fit my storyline XD So yeah, we're definitely heading in a Band-of-Brothers-like fic here.

Aww, I'm so sorry it didn't work out! Hmmmm, what we could try is that I send you the direct link to the vids (hopefully that works). I'll get to it right away. It's vodlocker, they're usually okay and I've never had virus problems, so maybe your antivirus won't get pissy again ^^ I'll get to it right away!

Like the way you're developing the relationship between Hartenstein and Mortimer, especially during the latter's fever, and their growing closeness in the conning tower. Very nice.

I have a question: Are you planning on turning Mortimer into a collaborator?

Off to work more on my current fic. Feedback is a great thing you know. ;)

Thanks, my dear ^^ I enjoy finding out where my Muse takes me - she has plans for those two, that i know, but otherwise I just write what she tells me to XD There's going to be more soon - I hope. It's going to get busy again ( ... )

Frankly I'm shocked that you would say that you have trouble *sorting* my fic into something you can read simply because it's on LJ. Since for the most part it's written (and posted) in order this is a crock of an excuse if ever I heard one and believe me I've been around in fandom long enough to know better. Ditto for the bit about accidentally copying my work. Are you kidding? However, that's by the by. Since you're now complaining about having to read/re-read my fic for the sake of commenting on it, yet you expect me to read yours and comment on it, I think it best at this point in time that we *do not* read each other's fic any further. Therefore this will be my last comment. Wishing you well.
