Thank you! I'm honestly the first person surprised at how much I progressed since Hunting lesson first version. But there was Gameuz, then Here be Voodoo (three chapters!!!) and the Hair Rope, and what they said about persistence is true. I'm making progress, everyone is making them, but we don't see them. I'm so much happier of this new version, it flow way better than five years ago.
We do see the progress when we look at old comic pages. At least I've gotten better in the last eleven years, as I compare pages of BD I did way back in 2004-2005 to those I've done from 2012 onwards or so. I'm crediting some of that to nude drawing classes, which have given me a better grasp on anatomy. Persistence really gives results, as you say. Your flow is excellent!
SCREAMING KITSUNES YASS. Best of luck with this one Val and congrats for being the first to jump into posting! I can't remember did you post this over at the tumblrs or submit it?
Oooooooh woooow, this is just lovely!! Your perspective is so solid and your lighting really helps emphasize the right things--this looks terrific! A monochromatic comic, hurm!
Thank you! Since I switched to full digital, it's much easier to make perspective right (this is my big trouble in art, I can't make perspective without tracing a ton of guides and the final product look... angular). The final design will look like a little bit more like the original, with more shading, but I'm still torn between keeping the orange or staying in green (or doing the full rainbow, a color by page :D )
