Putting order into things at work is both satisfying and oddly terrifying... What if I do it wrong? What if my order isn't the same as their order? What DON't I KNOW? I love ordering things and I love that I get paid to order things.

Someone I know does early morning Book Raids round her office to scoop up library books and magazines from everone else's desks and return them to their natural place on the shelf.

Yeah, I like it too, it's just such a monumental mess in there that it's quite overwhelming and my manager is being very close mouthed about what she wants and needs.

I've just given The Biologist from 1979 to now to the University of Bradford library, and they're very pleased.

I'm not allowed to do early morning raids like that, because apparently people were USING those things that had sat there for months...

That's exactly why they do morning raids. She says most people grumble but don't really care.
