Not Pottermania (well, much, anyway), but ROME.

Why are none of you watching Rome? It is by far and away the best thing on television at the moment. It is full of sexy people, good writing, self-aware plotting, and relatively good historical accuracy (ok, apart from the carrots cabd). I am totally into it. Not historically accurate but not so far off that I have to scream at the TV. They can't really do another season because Julia (octavian's daughter) has not be born and she plays a major role in Rome's political machinations later on.

Couldn't watch it on wednesday so ended up watching Claudius instead.

I think they could fit her in later on, they play a leetle fast and loose with timing. I love how Octavian is becoming a cold-eyed snake.

I would be totally into it if I ever remembered when it was on :/

When I have enough in my swear jar I will be getting series 1 and watching it all back to back :)

There was a pumkin in the first series. Thinking about it, they don't half get the vegetables wrong.

Good viewing though.

It's more that the timing is usually inconvenient for me but the bits I've caught were good. Nice production values and not too stilted.
