Author’s Note: I’ve decided to post this old fanfiction of mine here. It was written circa 2005 around Christmas, though it’s actually a Halloween story. :-S It was originally posted somewhere that unfortunately no longer exists, so I’m putting it up here. The name is incredibly creative. Not!

'A Halloween HanFic' is a Zac short story in three parts; it was my first finished work ever! It was also my first fanfic, my first erotica, the first time I ever wrote something in English and the first time I ever posted anything of mine for others to read.

Megan got invited to a very famous Halloween party at an OSU (Oklahoma State University) frat house and convinced her best friend, Callie, to tag along. Callie reluctantly said yes, after a lot of protesting, she really didn’t want to go. It’s not that she didn’t like parties or wasn’t a sociable girl, not at all. In fact, she was frequently referred jokingly as the social butterfly by her mother, she had a great deal of friends and was a considerably popular girl at her high school, but for the last six months or so she wasn’t so fluttery.

That quiet period, funny enough, had started after Callie’s two years long boyfriend had broken up with her, saying he couldn’t keep the relationship since he was moving to California, in a couple of months, for college and had to focus on other priorities. Her translation for that was obvious: “Dear, I’m going to sunny California, where girls are tanned, mature and wear barely anything, so I can’t be stuck with a girlfriend from Tulsa, Oklahoma!” That was a slap on the face for her and she still had to stand seeing him at school everyday for another two months after that.

During the summer break she finally got over it, but still wasn’t as party going as she used to be. So Megan came up with a million reasons for her to go to this Halloween party and, after thinking about it for awhile, Callie decided she should go. If only to see that wasn’t her place anymore, or maybe to get back in the game as she used to be, to have some fun and not be at home alone on another Saturday night.

The party was on full speed as they got there, the street was packed with cars and the three story brick house was crowded with people in all kinds of costumes, filled with smoke and almost shaking with the blasting music. Callie and Megan recognized some people from their school and chatted with them for sometime until Callie told Megan she should go find Jamie, the lovely sophomore who invited her.

- No, I can’t do that, girl! I’m not going to ditch you like this. What kind of friend do you take me for?

- Megs, I know fully well just what kind of friend you are! What kind of friend would I be if I made you drag me around all night long and kept you from seeing your Kansas boy?

- C’mon, Callie! - She said with a pleading look, she knew Callie didn’t want to come in the first place, so she couldn’t just leave her alone now.

- C’mon, Meeegs! - Callie mocked her best friend dragging her name. - Who do you think you’re talking to here, huh? Do you really think I’m going to be totally lost? It’s just a simple Halloween party, ya know? - Seeing Megan didn’t falter in her determination, Callie continued. - Look, I have the guys from school here if I need company and I’m sure I’ll find more people I know when I make the rounds. Right now I just need to find the drinks and dance a little to relax. What you need to do is to go find your bo and have a really great time. - She said winking. - Cause if you don’t on my account I’ll be pissed with you, got it? I’ll keep my cell close to me on vibrating and you do the same, as always. This is familiar territory, don’t worry, puh-lease! - Callie finished tilting her head and beaming the smile she knew Megan could never say no to.

- Alright, alright! - She gave in and said in a warning tone. - But you better have fun!

- Oh, I will! I wouldn’t have come here if I didn’t want that! And don’t you dare come find me! I’ll find you or call you if I want to. Uh, no, no! - She interrupted her friend. - You just enjoy Jamie; you guys never get to spend any decent time together lately!

- Thanks, Callie. - Megan said pulling her friend into a hug; she knew she was serious about this. - Love you, girl! Take care.

- Love ya too! And don’t you do anything I wouldn’t! - She finished with a laugh, before turning around and disappearing in midst of the crowd.

As she said, she did. Callie got her drinks and walked around the whole party, as expected, she found some more people she knew, talked and danced for about two hours. When she was beginning to feel the dizziness caused by the heat, loud music and alcohol, she went outside to the backyard, where there was a patio and a pool, to get some fresh air and sit down a little. In a more distant place, near the hedge, she found an empty pool chair and laid down with her eyes closed.

He first saw Callie when she was getting a drink from the kitchen, just before she crossed the big backdoors and went to lie down on a remote part of the patio. It took him a double take and an extra moment to recognize her, even though he hadn’t drank too much and had known her for the better part of his life. She just looked different from the last time he saw her. Callie’s hair was pulled down, had some highlights and looked even longer than he remembered, almost getting to the middle of her back; her skin still held the golden tan from the long summer break on the beach; her clothes were tighter and smaller than the ones he always saw her in when she was hanging out at home; and finally, she was just more grown up. He grabbed a drink himself and followed her to the patio.

Opening her eyes, Callie looked at the stars directly above her and whispered to herself:

- Wow! This is a beautiful night. - She sighed and slowly closed her eyes back.

- Yeah, it is. - He said in a low voice, standing by her side, also looking up and breathing in deeply the slightly chilly autumn breeze.

The sky was clear and the stars were all out, shinning bright, but there was no moon to be seeing. Again Callie opened her eyes looking up to the stars.

- The sky is just about perfect tonight. - She said softly, not looking to her new companion. - I just love the stars; they hold such magic and mystery. Exactly how all the rest of life should be like.

- I have to agree with you on that one, Callie. - He said still looking up and sighing quietly.

Callie was intrigued by this person now, how did he know her name? The husky voice wasn’t too strange to her, but either it was close and familiar enough so she could identify its owner. Unhurriedly she turned her head to see her stargazing buddy. Tall, strong¬-built, shaggy brown hair, perfect little button nose and full lips; all features lined by the soft light coming from the house on the opposite side of the yard.

- Hey, you… - She said gently with a little smile playing on her lips.
* * *
- Hey, you… - Zac answered in the same tone, also smiling, looking down from the stars and into her sky-blue eyes. - I didn’t know you were coming to this party. - He kept his voice in a smooth low tone. - I don’t think I remember your brother mentioning anything.

- I decided this afternoon I was coming. Is Casey here too? - She paused briefly, but before he could answer, she continued. - Oh, yeah! So this was the party he was talking about. - Callie assumed, sitting up Indian-style on the chair, and scooting to the top so he could join her.

- That sounds about right. - He said sitting down in front of her. - So why weren’t you coming?

- Well, just haven’t been on that party mood lately, but Megan convinced me to come.

- So you’re here with her?

- Kind of… She’s with a date, Jamie, the guy who invited her.

- Right, then we’re both serving as third wheel for the night. - He said chuckling.

- That sounds about right. - She said repeating his phrase. - But it was me who told her to be off with him. See, they never get to spend much time together.

- Unlike your brother and Heather.

- Yeah, but those two just can’t get enough of each other! - It was her time to chuckle.

- True, very true! - He agreed laughing too.

- So is that the reason why I haven’t seen you around the house lately?

- That too, but with school things get a bit more complicated than that. And I was away for the summer, so that’s an explanation too.

- Sure. - Callie said leaning to the side of the chair, picking up her yellow plastic cup from the floor and sipping on it.

- What is that, Cal? - He asked watching her delicate movements.

-Strawberry juice… Mmm. - She hummed liking her lips. - With vodka. - Callie smiled.

- Maybe you shouldn’t be drinking that. - He raised his eyebrows.

- Don’t worry, my dear, I can hold my liquor. - She said with a forced English accent, smiling and sitting up straighter. - I promise I won’t embarrass you or my brother in front of any of your college pals.

- That’s not what I’m worried about, Cal. - He said looking her straight in the eyes with his piercing honey colored ones.

- Well, I’m not a little girl anymore, you know, Zacy? - She said holding his gaze, resting her hand on his knee and leaning in, closing the space between them in a defiant way. - I can take good care of myself, thank you very much. Don’t you worry about that, you don’t have to fill in for Casey and play big brother here. I’m not planning on doing anything you wouldn’t… - Callie put an even naughtier smile on her face, pulling up her eyebrows. - Not tonight anyway.

She knew it was the alcohol talking there, getting the best of her, but she couldn’t help it even if she tried. Who was he and what did he know about her to have any saying in her dinking? He was just her big brother’s best friend; they didn’t even know each other that well. Callie almost never drank and it was never exaggerated, not even close enough for her to make a fool out of herself. Today she wanted to drink, she needed to loosen up, have fun and forget about things a little bit, but she still knew her limits.

Zac was caught off guard by Callie’s attitude; he didn’t expect her to be so audacious or insolent, she was usually a very calm girl, cheerful even. But then again, he didn’t know her well enough to see any other sides of her and had never given her any motives to be angry with him.

Callie stared into Zac’s eyes waiting for a retort, ready to throw another smart come back at him, but all she got was the tense expression he got on his face from her speech melting into a little mischievous smirk.

- You’re right, Cal. You’re not a little girl anymore and I’m not your big brother by any means. - He said with his eyes still fixed on hers.

This was Callie’s turn to get caught off guard and get a confused look on her face, he not only did not respond her, but he also agreed with her. She backed away from him, took a long sip from her drink, put it back on the floor and leaned against the chair’s back, still staring daringly at him.

- I really like your outfit. - He commented changing the subject all of a sudden. - The hippie costume suits you, Cal. - Zac finished his statement letting his eyes linger on her from head to toe.

She was wearing very light and natural makeup, had thin braids and very small white flowers scattered over her long, wavy, dark blond hair and a pair of blue, round, Lennon style glasses on the top of her head. For jewelry she had the obvious collar with the peace symbol on, toe rings, chandelier sapphire earrings and Indian bracelets on her wrists and ankle. Callie’s clothing was simple but looked beautiful on her: an embroidered white gypsy style tank top molded her tall, thin frame; a knee length tiered skirt with dark shades of blue starting from the bottom and fading lighter as her hips came showed her curves delicately and, to complete the look, she had a pair of flowered flip flops and a small denim purse with a long handle crossing over her chest.

- Thank you. - Callie offered him a small smile. - I didn’t get much time to prepare the costume, so I just pulled something together with what I have in my closet. - She was at ease with him again, no longer kept her impertinent attitude.

- Well, you look just like you’ve came straight out of Woodstock. I didn’t get much time to get a costume either and wasn’t so successful. - Zac said laughing.

- It’s not that bad, but I really don’t see you as a baseball player.

- Yeah, me neither. But it was all I could put together in time. - He said playing with the baseball cap in his hands.

Zac was wearing one of his raglan, ¾ sleeves tees and this one was blue with the sleeves in a darker tone of blue; a pair of jeans; a pair of blue converse shoes and a blue cap. To finalize the baseball look he hung a baseball glove to one of the belt hoops of his trousers.

- Well, at least I can see you can coordinate colors. - She commented giggling.

- Oh, thanks, Cal! Since it’s just one color that says a lot about what you think of me!

- Hey, I’m wearing only blue too!

- You have that little white blouse going on also.

- Oh, how complex! It demands a lot of brain action to match this! If this counts then your jeans must count too. - They both burst into laughter. - God, this must have been the most pointless and shallow conversation I have ever had. - Callie said trying to catch her breath. - And that is saying something, because I’ve had tons of both very pointless and very shallow conversations!

- You’re funny, girl. - Zac said observing her and shaking his head.

- Thanks… Uh… I think I should go inside and look for Megs. - She said checking the time on her cell phone. - God, it has been the longest time since I last saw her…

- Oh, yeah, sure! - He said standing up. - Can I walk you inside? - He asked landing Callie a hand.

- Yes, of course. - She accepted his hand and he pulled her up. Since she still felt dizzy from the drinking and hadn’t rested as much as she should, she wavered a bit.

- Are you okay, Cal? - Zac asked searching her eyes and holding her tighter by both hands.

- Sure, I’m fine! - She answered him with a big smile. - You know what? You should come to visit at the house more often. Even if Casey is with Heather now, you shouldn’t let him leave you to the side like that. It’s just wrong, I’d never do that, you know? You got to simply show up like you used to. That was fun.

- The late night movie sessions and card playing? - Zac was impressed she truly enjoyed those things. They were fun, no doubt about it, but were very dorky too, he thought.

- Yeah! And the eating all the fattening stuff or weird mixes only you ever join me on! - That statement made him chuckle again.

- True, but you really come up with the best strange combinations!

- I think so too, but no one other than you ever agreed with me about that! I absolutely don’t understand why!

- I don’t either! Fritos in vanilla yogurt is the best food I’ve ever eaten! Crunchy and sweet, Yum! - Zac said making both laugh.
* * *
Getting back inside the house, Callie noticed a guy she didn’t want to meet again coming in their direction.

- Oh, no! - She said turning back to Zac and trying to cover her face with her hand.

- What is it? - He asked looking around, not understanding.

- This guy I really don’t want to see. Actually, I don’t him to see me. C’mon. - She told him grabbing his hand once more. - Let’s go this way. - And she took a beeline to the front door.

- Oh, no! - It was Zac’s turn to say when they got to the foyer and he spotted a voluptuous blond girl wearing a tinny costume. He automatically squeezed Callie’s hand, making her rotate to face him once more.

- Really? Where? - She asked understanding what he meant.

- Playboy Bunny coming down the stairs, twelve o’clock. - He nodded his head indicating behind Callie.

She turned again to face the front door and the end of the stairs to observe the blond girl.

- And to think she probably wore that costume so guys like you wouldn’t run away from her.

- Look how well that worked out! - Zac said sarcastically looking to his sides. - C’mon, Cal, get in here. - He told Callie pulling her by the hand to a door he had just noticed under the stairs. It was probably a small coat closet, he thought, but it’d be the best place he would find now.

- God, how did you just find this place? Pulled it out of your cap or something? - Callie asked surprised while Zac was closing the door of the scarcely lit cubicle.

- I only noted there was a handle on the wall; it had to be a door to some sort of room or something.

- Right, this door is just like the wooden panels on the rest of the wall, I’d never discover it! It’s almost camouflaged; you must be really desperate to hide from that bunny!

- Yeah, I guess… - He said running his hand down the wall. - And the door being almost unrecognizable is probably the single reason this place doesn’t have some two people who just met groping at each other.

- True. It’s such a shame we didn’t walk in on anything like that! It’d be so much fun! - Callie said jokingly.

- Oh, so much! That’s just what we needed tonight, after being so lucky and running away from both your stalker guy and my wacky Playboy Bunny. - He completed laughing.

- What the hell are you doing, Zachary? - She asked him teasingly when he bumped into her.

- Sorry, I was just trying to turn on… - He answered holding her still, once again, after she swayed. - Looking for a light switch.

- Hmmm. - She murmured in agreement, pulled the cell phone out of her purse and hit a button.

- That was smart. - He commented when the light came on, still holding her and looking her in the eyes.

- I’m a very clever blond, for your information, Zac. - She turned up her eyebrows. - And very handy in case of need I might add.

- I’ll keep it in mind to have you around every time I’m in need, Callie. Whenever I need to run away from a bunny and hide in a closet. - He joked. - And, hey, I said nothing about your blondness. You’ll get no stupid blond jokes on my part! I don’t think blonds are stupid, by the way… - He added in a lower voice with a smirk.

- Oh, yeah, right! How could you? - Callie asked combing his hair with her fingers. - I forgot you were a very blond long haired boy once!

Zac snorted a laugh and said:

- Exactly. Here. - He let go of her hip and tugged on the light string that was hanging between them.

They both blinked with the brightness, neither outside nor the house were this bright.

- Ouch! Turn that freaking thing off or I’ll go totally blind, Zac. - Callie demanded covering her eyes.

Zac obeyed on the spot; the glow from the lamp really felt blinding at that point and the light coming in from the door and ceiling’s cracks was enough for them to see in that small place.

- Sorry, Cal. - He laughed. - Who in the world would put this thousand watts lamp in here? - He asked exaggerating.

- Well, someone who definitely knows nothing about energy saving and desperately don’t want to lose their coats! I mean, did you see the airheads that live here? They probably just have too much steroids on their bodies to even notice this.

- That may as well be true, Callie. I’m sorry for being so honest, but your boyfriend is not so different from these jocks here. - Zac said and paused, almost afraid of her reaction, when a question hit him. - Hey, why isn’t he here with you? You said you came with Megan, right?

- Yeah, hmmm… Pete’s in college now, in California. He broke up with me in early May.

- Oh, sorry. I didn’t know that.

- Hey, it’s okay! I’m not sorry for that anymore! At first I was, of course, but now I see I’m much better off without him. It’s true what you said you know? He is an airhead; I was just too love struck to see that.

- Right. What tells more he is stupid than breaking up with you? - Zac wondered aloud then cleared his throat; he didn’t actually mean to say that. He didn’t even know he thought like that. - I mean… You said you guys broke up in May, you could still have had another two or three months together, or stay together after that.

- Of course, Zac: he’d be there and I’d be here! He in California, with all the college hottest girls, and me here, in Tulsa! C’mon, Zac! I’m not stupid, that’s exactly why he broke it off. He much preferred sunny Cali than Callie here; at least he was honest enough and didn’t lead me on with something that wasn’t going to work anymore.

- Well, Cal, if that’s how things went, then I have to assume he didn’t love you very much.

- I never said he did, did I?

Zac got a quizzical look with that declaration. Didn’t she just tell him they loved each other?

- I said I was still too love struck. I never said he ever loved me. - Callie completed, as if reading his mind, and looked at him waiting for a reply.

After a second he leaned in close to Callie and told her in a low voice, looking her in the eyes:

- Then he’s even dumber than I thought, isn’t he?

Zac couldn’t believe he was saying those things! He couldn’t believe he was saying those things like that! He shouldn’t even be thinking anything of that sort. But he was. Zac’s last phrase made Callie’s heart skip a beat. Though she had been flirting with him since she first saw him that night, she wasn’t sure his answers actually meant what she thought and hoped they did. This was the confirmation she wanted. Even if his words left any room for doubts, his eyes on her definitely didn’t.

For some weird reason she froze with that, it wasn’t the kind of thing that ever happened to her before, answers always came very easily for Callie, but this time they didn’t. All of her emotions and thoughts of Zac, years before, before Pete, in her pre-teens and early teen years flooded her. She remembered everything at once. She had loved him so much. Always from afar and never told anyone, not even Megan, but she had loved him! He was her first love.

- Shit! - She exclaimed breaking their eye contact and looking around.

Callie didn’t even know what she was looking for, but any excuse would do to get her out of that situation. She didn’t know how to act, had no idea of what to do or what to say.

- I left my drink in the yard, damn it! - She said more to herself than to anyone else. - I think our stalkers are gone by now. It won’t be any trouble for us to get out of here and I’ll get another drink from the kitchen. - Now Callie referred to Zac, but didn’t look him in the eyes, and motioned to the door.

- I really don’t think you should be drinking anymore, Cal. - He interrupted Callie from opening the door by holding her hand.

- For the love of God, Zac! - She said louder than she wanted to, yanking his hand off of hers. - Stop trying to tell me what to do here! Didn’t we already have this conversation? I’ll drink as it pleases me! I’m not driving, tomorrow is a Sunday and I won’t do anything idiotic in this God forsaken party! Stop watching me like a hawk! We previously agreed I’m not a little girl anymore and you’re not my brother.

Callie knew well this wasn’t at all what he meant by his statement, that she was a little girl, I mean, or was he playing big brother there, but still she said it and pushed him out of her way, storming into the blasting party. Zac tried to keep up and follow her, but he lost her in the crowd a few seconds latter. After that, he found Casey and Heather to say his goodbyes and went home, he needed to gather and straighten out his thoughts about Callie and that whole night.

- Hey, Megs! - Callie answered her cell phone about half an hour after she had had lunch. - What’s up?

- You tell me, girl! What the hell happened last night so you’d leave like that, without even telling me and just sending a text message on my cell saying you were fine and at home? I couldn’t reach you until now! Since when do you live your cell off?

- Sorry, Megs! I didn’t mean to. I turned it off because I wanted to sleep without disturbance, but simply forgot about it and just turned it on.

- I see… So what happened last night?

- Not much, I just wanted to come home and didn’t want to bother you. I knew you would have wanted to drive me, so I called a cab.

- Of course I would have driven you, Callie! We went together!

- Yeah, but it wasn’t fair for you to leave Jaime on my account.

- I could’ve come back after driving you home. - Megan felt there was more to it than just that, but didn’t want to press too much and knew she wasn’t going to get anything out of Callie on the phone. - Anyways, whatever! Bygones by now! I wanted to come by to dish about last night, what do you think? I have so much to tell you!

- Sure! Come right this instant! I want to know every little detail about you and Jaime! - Callie knew from the tone on her best friend’s voice that was what she wanted to talk about the most.

- Oh, you know me too well! - Megan said laughing. - That’s why I love you so bad!

- I really do know you, don’t I? Love you too, you crazy thing! Get in here, now!

Only twenty minutes had passed by when the doorbell rang.

- Come in, love of my life! TV room. - Callie yelled from where she was lying on the couch in front of the television.

- Oh, how sweet! I want to always be greeted like that! - Megan said entering the room and seeing an arm holding up a spoon. She walked around the couch and saw her friend with a bowl of ice cream. - And ice cream, great! You’re going to spoil me like that! - She finished by picking up the spoon.

- That was my plan, my dear! Spoiling you with dessert!

- Oh, don’t you flirt with me like that… - She joked. - I do have a boyfriend, you know? - Megan couldn’t keep that to herself for another second.

- No, you don’t! - Callie exclaimed sitting up to see the big smile on Megan’s face. - I can’t believe! How sweet! Oh, Jaime is the best… I was already wondering when that was going to happen!

After that they talked for hours nonstop, like all respectable two girls would, presented by such news. They talked about Jaime, the passed night and all the boys that went before that. Megan was truly happy and so was Callie for her, this in fact was a great guy.

- Oh, I totally forgot to tell you! You won’t guess who I ran in to last night? - Faced with an ‘I have no idea’ look from Callie, she went on. - That cutie, friend of your brother’s, Zac Hanson. I hadn’t seen him in ages! Don’t think he saw me, though.

- Right… I ran in to him too, he was there with my brother and his girlfriend

- Casey and Heather were there too? I didn’t see them. - Megan tried to remember. - No, don’t think I did. Anyways… let me finish! I’ve got to tell you this; it was probably one of the funniest scenes I’ve ever witnessed!

- How was it? - Callie was amused by her friend’s enthusiasm.

- It was awhile after I had found Jamie and he was talking to his friends, so I had full, undisturbed view of the spectacle! Zac had just gotten a drink and this bleached blond girl, wearing the smallest costume in the whole party, approached him, sort of. I think she was a bit out of it, not that anyone would have to be to hit on Zac, but I think she had drank a bit too much. Anyhow, she simply saw him, pretended she hadn’t, very badly by the way, and bumped into him full force, harder than she intended, I think, making him entirely drop his drink. - Megan commented laughing. - It was so ridiculous, he obviously had already noticed her with those enormous breasts, almost pouring out of her strapless bodysuit, and he had noticed she had seen him also, but she did it anyway!

- Was this girl by any chance a Playboy Bunny? - Callie asked interested.

- Yeah, how do you know? - Megan was confused.

- Just a guess… And then what happened, Megs?

- Well, she probably said she was sorry about the drink or something, at that moment Zac’s expression was priceless! The girl spoke very close to his face and she must have had a terrible breath, because he totally scowled at her and she didn’t even notice! Or pretended not too.

Callie and Megan absolutely exploded into laughter with that observation.

- Bad breath is a definite no go. - Callie joked.

- Definite no go and I think Zac agrees with us on that one, because after that every step the girl took forward, getting closer to him, he took one backwards, trying to get away from her. - Megan said, acting as if she was backing away from Callie. - And the second she looked the other way, he slipped by her and went away to the kitchen and I think the backyard latter.

- Oh, that scene must have been great!

- It was; I’m telling you! I just wish I had a camera or something so I could have tapped it!

- Now that would have been priceless!

They both chuckled even more. Megan, noticing that her friend was at ease now, decided to take the chance and ask her what had happened the night before, causing her to leave so suddenly.

- So what really went on last night, huh? - She asked with a serious tone. - It’s not your style to disappear from a party like that; I bet there was an ulterior motive that made you want to leave.

Callie sighed, she knew Megan would think her hurried departure was weird and wouldn’t let it go, but she also didn’t really know yet exactly what had happened.

- Look, I don’t… - She stopped, sighing again, trying to think about what she was going to say. - I’m not sure about anything right now, last night I just needed to come home and clear my head. I couldn’t think there. That was it, truthfully. I swear I’ll tell you if anything else takes place, but I can’t talk about it just yet, okay? - She asked with a pleading look.

- Okay… - Megan gave up, she knew Callie wouldn’t give away anything. - But talk to me if you need, Callie! I’m here for you, always, alright?

- I know that! And I don’t think it’s such a big deal anyway.

- Whatever, but you can count on me either way. - She finalized hugging her friend. - Look at the time! - She exclaimed, glancing at the clock on the wall. - I have to go now, but I’ll call you tomorrow, after classes, to take care of the finishing touches of our Halloween night tradition! I’ll rent the horror movies and you’ll provide the goodies, no weird mixes for me, please!

- Okay, I know! I’ll even primp the house a little more! It’s going to be better than ever, you’ll see!

- I bet it will! And no parents, right?

- No, no parents! They’ll go to that same work party they go to every year.

- Of course, I was just checking!

- It is going to be our first all girl’s Halloween night, because we’ll even be rid of Casey; he’s going to Heather’s.

- No boys, then?

- Nope. - Callie answered shaking her head. - A whole boy-free night! We can dress anything we want, behave anyway we want and do whatever crosses our minds!

- Cool, so I guess we got to establish the dressing code. - Megan said with an evil smile.

- Uh-oh… I don’t like that big grin of yours! You’re not going to make me wear something stupid or ridiculous, are you? Please, Megs! - Callie begged.

- Not stupid, just different! It’s Halloween; you got to dress for the occasion! It has to be special and unique like… - Megan looked up thinking and whispered her ideas.

- Oh, no! You won’t make me wear that!

- Oh, yeah, I will! You won’t wear that for anyone else, I know, in that case I’m in charge of making sure you wear it sometime! And I’m sure you’ll manage to work around that somehow!

- I promise not to work around that if you wear that lovely combination we played with that one time we took those funny pictures!

- C’mon! Now that was stupid and ridiculous!

- These are my stipulations, no negotiations are in order. - Callie tried to remember something else to add to her list and the sight of some things, she knew Megan would never agree to, crossed her mind. - And the bright green rollerblades and the purple and black striped gloves are a must to finish the outfit.

- Ha! I see what you’re trying to pull here… I’m not falling for that one! No matter what crazy combination you come up with, you’re not getting out of mine! No, no! No way!

- Please, Megs!

- It’s not going to be a big deal; it will be just the two of us here, you said it yourself! So now that that’s settled I’m off! Bye, see ya tomorrow! - And with that Megan fled through the door before more arguments or ridiculous dressing demands were given.
