Wow anther great chapter. You are spoiling us madam.

I was glad Henry showed up on time. The horror of him buying Reid clothes brrrrr.

A match made in heaven the pairing of Maddy and Reid.
She is making some cash. He has got someone doing his washing.

With those cool patients Oakdale is looking good.

Now I know where you have been. Writing al these great chapters.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Thank you!

I actually like how Henry dresses but I think most people would NOT be able to pull if off. I think he dresses perfectly for the character. His appearance is such a fun quick read on the his character.

I actually did a good bit of writing while I was gone but they were actually two stories in my normal 'verse [one story was a week at Reid and Luke living at Snyder farm, doing chores, etc., and one story was Luke w amnesia thinking he was still 17]. But I lost those stories and didn't have the heart to go back. Therefore, I did an outline on this story but am posting as I go. Hopefully I wont' have huge delays between chapters. Thanks for your patience!

Ha! Yeah, Reid just opened right up, didn't he? The joys of writing fic is that you can have what normally takes months to occur in a soap to occur in one chapter.

Thanks for reading and giving feedback! It's appreciated.

A moment that made me go awwwww......
But then, Reid espied a wicker basket on the dresser. It was wrapped with a red ribbon and bow and filled with cleaning products. All of his favorite cleaning products. It’s like Maddie looked inside his heart.

Also loved the references to Soylent Green, twinkly eyedrops and Furley/Roper (and that Henry was okay with being compared to Furley)!!

Thanks for the lovely and detailed feedback. I appreciat it.

Regarding Furley: I don't know why but Don Knotts just creates such a feeling of nervousness and anxiety in me that I literally cannot watch him for more than a few moments at a time. But I do vaguely remember his colorful, polyester 70s clothes on Three's Company.

Another thoroughly entertaining chapter. Too bad Reid met Henry before Henry had a chance to go shopping.

Love the college student apartment description. I bet the cupboard was filled with raman noodles.

Oakdale actually would be a great home for a neurosurgeon looking for a challenge. Paul alone could occupy his own suite. Did this last sentence happen? I don't recall it.

"Fortunately he got a page about a patient who was brought to the hospital because they had woken up speaking medieval French even though they had never studied French."

Thanks for reading!

It would have been pretty funny to see Reid's reaction to Henry's selecting his wardrobe!

Ramen noodles. Bad flashback, man.

I did make up the speaking with a medieval French accent. I just needed a whacky neurological condition and that was as whacky as we could get. [Of course, maybe the patient is remember a past lifetime like Barbara did when she was falling in love with Gunther!]
