Perfect story to read on Halloween, and the last one made me tear up. Lovely.

Oh, Jack's mother's part got me a bit teary, and Lisa's... The woman brushes the palm again. "You will meet a man who will love you more than the Earth and the stars, and would burn them both down for you." [...] she definitely wants to forget the look of sharp pity in the eyes of the woman with the sad life. I swear I stopped breathing for a moment. That one line about Ianto had a hell of a punch.

Thank you. :) I really loved the image of Lisa getting the kind of prophecy that most people would be delighted to hear, while we know what's being left out, and how much that will cost them. So glad you liked it too!

Ooh, I like this. It's a little spooky and quite lovely.

Happy endings are a matter of stopping the story in the right place.

Love that line. Jack's mother's story was definitely my favorite.

Oh that was gorgeous. I was expecting something abit fluffy and that was anything but. Well okay, maybe call it fluff with bite. Because the ouch bits definitely hurt. Loved that Gwen had the sight too but tried to pretend she didn't.
Jack's mum - oh. I loved that. Just amazing. that line "Happy endings are a matter of stopping the story in the right place."
So so true.
