Yes, Alice will kill him. Repeatedly.

"He'll be perfectly safe. He'll be with us."
Um...

Love how you portrayed Steven here. First his very adult grasp of the plan and his role in it, then going right past it to lunch and a family outing. It had a very natural feel to it.

Yes, Alice will kill him. Repeatedly.

She'll enjoy it, too. She'll be creative about it.

Glad Steven rang true. I have a kid the same age, and one minute we're "Let's be helpful and save the world!" and the next it's all "Can we go to McDonald's on the way?" So. :)

Aaw thankyou for the lovely gift! (well I know it's for everyone but I'm delighted! ) A story in this verse that I love so much.

Great place to end it, I had it playing out, I was thinking of that DW ep with Sarah Jane at the school, and imagining them there.

It's nice, I always felt so bad for Steven, wanting just to go off with Ianto again, and counting the days, this is therapeutic for him, and I'm sure it will go smoothly.

:D Yay! I figure, every day is fix-it day. Especially today.

I thought about playing it out more, but I've got a similar plot I'm working on in a different fic. That's the perfect concept to imagine next, though. ;)

I'm sure it will go smoothly.

*cough* Probably not, but hey, they'll all be alive at the end, and that's the important bit.

Glad you liked it!

Alice needs to get over herself and not only trust that those two men love Steven as much as she does, but they all need to start giving S some credit for his own decisions.

Keep in mind that this is set after Jack killed Steven. Alice is never going to trust him again. I think she understands at this point that Steven has to spend time with both of them to be stable, but when she finds out about this, she is going to hit the roof. :)

Thanks for reading!

I have been bopping around so many verses that I thought this was one were Steven didn't die.
So why is Ianto allowing it?
Of course, if she insists they keep him safe no bathrooms or car rides cause those are the most danderous places.

No worries, it's easy to get confused with all the AUs flying around here. :) Ianto figures Jack and Gwen are right and there's probably no actual danger.

Of course, if she insists they keep him safe no bathrooms or car rides cause those are the most danderous places.

Yes, exactly. They can't wrap him in towels for the rest of his life, because he could get killed slipping in the tub. Going undercover for half an hour should be no big deal. Probably.

Oh, now I want the rest of it! But I understand why it stops here - it's kinda perfect like that.
