It's this thing that guilty Catholics do. Well. I guess if you're Catholic you're already guilty anyway. Or something. But you give something up because Jesus did or wants you to.

I don't really understand it but I wanted to get closer to a friend so I tried to learn about it for him. I failed it mostly and he's mad at me now, though. Can't blame him though. I know it was pretty jerkassy of me.
