i love them so much there, the both of them, that it makes the later so much harder to contemplate.

=\ It's . . interesting, seeing the man he was when Arianhrod was young. Not perfect, by any stretch of the imagination, but much less fucked in the head than he was in later years.

Aw. Tis nice.

Before it all went . . . messy.

Thank you. :) He and Phoebe can be strangely sweet together, which previous to writing them together at the period I would never, ever have guessed.

Yeah, things got very ugly eventually. =\ Getting to know the man Aifiric was (I got to know him first through Aodh's eyes, for example) was.. odd. Makes me wish I could tweak the story, sometimes, but then things get Complicated and it becoems an entirely different beast.

Makes me wonder about this scene from her perspective. It's a neat glimpse in on them. <3

I don't think she's going to hand me her end anytime soon, unfortunately; might manage her POV on when Arianhrod was really small, but even that's a little tricky to work around.

that's cute, if kind of loaded...

It, like many of the pieces with Aifiric and Phoebe together, feels really . . delicate isn't the right word, but maybe 'carefully balanced' would do? For all the fond that they were of one another, they didn't really laugh together, y'know?
