I love that he recalibrates his love for the couch. <3
Harrier claimed there was reason behind the contractions, maybe even a spell of some kind. Harrier claimed a lot of things. Especially when he'd been at the mead. Or the sleep deprivation.
Sleep deprivation would make you claim just about anything, to be fair to Harrier. Which I didn't like to be, but I was still a vaneo and I wasn't supposed to be recording Eternal Rivalries until I was at least a hundred and thirty. Or equivalent

After a second, holding pills, water, and book, I scowled again and doored myself a bookmark, too, so I could actually take the paidslaiker pills without losing my spot.

Ordinarily that wouldn't even have interrupted the paragraph, let alone the book,
*giggling* which says something.
I had to remind myself that he wasn't being a sidhe asshole trying to direct my attention to something with gestures once they'd worked out I was headblind.
they do fail at gestures, it is known. they always seem to go overboard and ridiculous and awkward. =\ also, aedra sympathizes.
whole para of describing aodh's tenuous relationship with language made me sniiiiicker. and, yeah, harrier does tend to clam a lot of things. =p

Well, really, if he was going to stop reading whenever Aodh set something on fire he'd never get any reading done!
--'s not something I would've guessed at, that Yasha and Aedra could actually kinda bond over the whole fuckin' headblind thing.
(Aodh protests his grip on language is perfectly solid! Niamh says sure, if you assume slightly drunken Trickwood longshoreman is a respectable dialect.)
I love that apparently Eternal Rivalries came up.
Of course he recalibrates it! :D
(I want to know wtf happened to Santiago's horses. O.o;)
He pinged it--it's not going to hit him or anything he cares about, why flinch? Srsly, wtf is with you limited jaeves? (Watching Aodh throw something past him while he fails to flail is pretty funny, apparently. Especially if other people duck.)
I kind of love it took him this long to notice getting a door collapsed on him would contribute to a mini-migraine. (Also, did I spell paidsleiker right? 's ( ... )

figured he might run into him as aedra tries to whip the olfridulfr into shape. they're not the only two headblind folks in the war-wolves pack, and aedra probably registers as a bit more remote on that end of the story, especially because he knows he has to scare them into compliance on certain levels, but that's one of the areas on his list of things to figure out work-arounds on. (which in the end, is probably a good thing he was already pointing in that direction anyway, as post-collapse, they'll be dealing with a lot more humans and headblind fae.)
a legitimate dialect it may be, but i suspect the respectable part is a long time coming. =p

glass might've had a series of "let me show you my monkey relationship data collection!" moments. besides, roadmaps for someone new to the game might come in handy. =D

This is Sean-era, yes, and while Sean is technically aware it's still overwhelming habit not to speak fox in the company of family.
:D Of course all his metaphors are Olfridulfr-related! They're very . . pungent. :)
He accidentally opened a door to a Swamp, and a dragonfly the size of a robin came through and said why yes, I would like to subscribe to your bug newsletter. You have a great variety of species on your menu!
(I think Aodh was distracted by the carnivorous dinosaur that also came through that door and they noticed the dragonfly in the definite-aftermath. And hell, why not.)
