I tend to revert to the language I know better too. I find myself saying English words while trying to speak with my bosses in German. With one of them I gave up completely - we speak in English all the time. As for French... It's been so long since I spoke it, I suspect I'd find myself saying English words here too.

I'm glad you're getting better and better with German. And it's cool that the people at the courses are understanding and helpful.

TY. I enjoyed working with and for them, but lately things took an unpleasant turn.

I don#t even know if that's a crow. It's all black, but has a very bright red-orange beak. Seen these birds only since I'm here in Germany.

Haha you know I suddenly start to speak English to the kids and they find it normal and answering me back in English....and we normally all speak Dutch at home...even Al...well kind of Dutch

I fully understand replying in the wrong language - at my German lessons it sometimes is hard not to say anything in English, because we try to talk and we want to, but don't know the right words in German. But I know them in English, so the first reaction is talking English:)
Do you read these 2 books in German?

Guess the brain think that both are foreign languages, and not bother to make a difference :P Especially with things written the same, but meaning different things in different languages.

Since I'm here I read only in German, to improve my langage.
