Oh, yeah, I'm still alive...

And I do read Lj, but most of the times I only stick to that, lurking, since I'm just not in that state of wanting to post stuff. But today I felt like it, to post, that is. Maybe it's because of the nice warm weather, that gives thise sort of restlessness, a desire of being active. It was about time, even for me, which I'm not influenced much by the weather. I did felt like we had enough winter.

The course goes ok, but it requires a huge dose of concentration from my part. I do understand though a hell lot more German, and speak it better. But sometimes mix-ups happen. Especially at the French class, when my tendency is to answer in German, instead of French. Hey, for my brain, they are both foreign languages :P And, one time, I did surprised myself when I said something in English to a coleague ther, instead of saying it in German. But the people there are patient with me, and the trainers tell me to ask them if I don't understand.

Speaking of French, I've sort of quit my French client. While the agency in Romania continues to work with them, I refuse to do anything for them anymore. While I agree that each have their own tastes and I don't expect that everyone should like what I like or I create, I cannot stand assholes. There's a difference between business talk and complete lack of common sense, and I don't think anyone need to go to a special school to learn about this difference.

I've read "The Stranger", by Camus. Strange and so very cold written book. Somewhat fascinating, yet still trying to figure it out. Now I'm reading, in parallel, a biography of Martin Luther and one of Sigmud Freud. I find them both fascinating, and, even if I'm not at all a religious person, I enjoy reading about Luther, and what he did. I think that in order to understand the development of our world, I mean Europe and, not much later, the new world, one has indeed to know more about what this guy did, and, more important, what he wrote.

And, since it's been a while...

In one of the last days with snow here, a birdie came on our balcony to get some crumbs or whatever it found there.

Of course, for Wolfie, it was the event of the week :P

On her fav place, in the sun, on the warm heater.
