Today, you get pictures of everything that I did over the weekend! (Except for the corset, as I haven't been able to get anyone to take my picture in it, yet. Maybe tonight?
I will swap you pictures of the corset for pictures of the stole (which should be ready to come off the wires!), and we'll see if corsetry improves knitting posture.
Yeah, I kind of did a stupid amount of knitting when my dad was here, since it's possible to knit and watch movies! And then I completely fucked up the last round, because I NEVER READ THE FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS, so it took me a day longer than I'd thought to fix my own screw-up. But it's still ahead of schedule enough that I may also do a scarf...*rubs chin*
I will be happy to model it and post pictures, and be SUPER-RUFFLY! You are so awesome!
I have cut out a prototype of your skirt (which Will mis-read on my To Do List as "potato skirt"). I think it's making sense! I'll probably finish it next week, barring any other sudden adventures.
I hope it works! I'm afraid it is too long (amazingly enough, if you want a 21" skirt, you don't cut out a 21" skirt and then tack a 3" ruffle on to the bottom. Hm.)
Hee! Potato skirt! You could run a clock off of it! That would be very steampunk!
