Food: Jarritos Lime soda
My rating: Never had lime pop before, but this is pretty good. Very pleasant. I've had lime Jell-O and this brought back memories of yeah, this is about how it tasted. And I can tell that this is definitely one of the flavors in lemon-lime pop (which is a minor victory for my taste buds).

Food: Jarritos Mandarin soda
My rating: Pretty good! It's got more of a lemon-lime taste than I'm used to in an orange soda, but there's plenty of oranginess too and the two flavors peacefully coexist.
Would I get it again?: Yes. It's pretty cheap where I live -- cheaper than the equivalent bottle of Fanta -- and I like it as much as I do any other ( Read more... )

Food: Kras Dorina milk chocolate with biscuit (currently #15 on the mini-slideshow)
My rating: Quite delicious. The chocolate predominates, but the biscuit also has a strong, yummy premise, and the two combine to be, well, quite delicious. It's not really crunchy.

. . . so no big update just yet. We went on a trip to see KJ's family and be at a baptism at the start of the month. Eventually I should get around to posting the pictures.

Went to a Thai place yesterday. I had the Pad See Eew with pork, and it's pretty good until you get tired of it. The noodles were surprisingly sweet.

Apparently they're out of style or something. WalMart only had loose suncatchers and packages. Michaels only had cheap-o packages. Today, Artmart had nothing. We had to go to MonsterWalmart to find separate paint. 12 colors (black twice -- seriously?), so KJ decided to get a couple of suncatchers for herself rather than let all that paint go to ( Read more... )

Our usual Chinese buffet closed down some months ago, so yesterday ladykatyjane and I went to Hokkaido.

It's bigger than the old place and has more sushi (which is to say, any) and seafood. The other variety is comparable to the old place. KJ thought all the sushi was raw, so I didn't have any of that. What I did try was all good, though.
