Tokyo!

I am going to Tokyo in July! It's wonderful and in a way so hard to believe that I keep expecting for something bad to happen that will make me unable to go. Waah. But I and my friends have booked a flight and I've payed my share of it. Now we just have to find accommodation. One person would be able to stay at Juha's, our friend who is an exchange ( Read more... )

I knew few good ryokans and cheap guest houses in Tokyo.
If you want me to send you a list of them, just ask or call.
They are all quite cheap, some more traditional and some more for the backpackers :)

It would be wonderful to get a list like that. Could you email it to me (nahkasiipi @ livejournal.com)? It would be really useful. Thank you so much for offering. :)

Thank you! I'm sure you'll get there one day too. :) This chance pretty much came to me out of the blue... I'd heard friends planning a trip and had thought they didn't want me with them or that I wouldn't have a holiday at the right time, but after all it worked out just perfectly.

Miekin haluan Tokioon teidän kanssa. Pitäisiköhän alkaa lotota? *harkintaa* Teen sitten tuliaislistan. *virne*

Lottoa! :) Mutta älä luulekaan, että kannan selkä vääränä sinulle kauheaa määrää tavaraa sieltä... nyyh. Vähän jotain pientä voin kyllä tuoda. :P

(sorry jos kuulostan vähän töykeältä, tämän viikon herätykset klo 5 aamulla eivät tee miulle hyvää...)

Mie kävin jo tänään ostamassa arpoja. Se ei ole vielä lottoamista, mutta melkein. *virne*

No mie yritän tehdä pienistä asioista koostuvan listan. *virne* Tokyo Tower, kirjakauppa... *suunnittelee listaa*

How nice for you! :)

I would suggest staying at Asia Center. I don't think you'll find a more perfect low-budget hotel in Tokyo. Even the location is ideal. It's a so called Business Hotel, which means it's in every way lovely and clean and has everything you need, but is also very cheap.

Thank you for the recommendation! I have to take it into consideration. We already found a nice-looking ryokan from the net near Waseda, where our friend lives, and we'll probably stay there. It's also near Shinjuku. :) But if they are fully booked, it's good to have a plan B.

Waseda... *___* One of my favourite idols is at that University. But I think it's more like distance-studying.
Shinjuku is lovely! :)
