The Sickness has abated.  Mostly.  A wee bit of stuffiness is left.  I went to the doctor this morning, yes there is something wrong with my chest wall, nothing with the lung underneath, but nothing to do other than wait.  I am just so thrilled

Which herald's manual encourages adlibbing? The problem here is way too many heralds cannot do it appropriately. Go ahead and give them a 'vivant" or a "vivat" or two. I find it amusing. Throw in a Poobah as well occasionally. Also depends on who's court you are heralding too.

At Investiture apparently there are food places within walking distance. That's what we plan on doing.

When we were B&B we NEVER used the ceremonial. I gave the herald scroll wording and the rest we adlibbed. Made it way more personal that way.
