Frustrated

Ever get the feeling the project you are working on just doesn't _want_ to be finished.  It is simple, I want to make a pair of socks for my mom for christmas.  I have yarn, pattern and needles, so I cast on.  I get slightly past the heel, and try them on (we are the same shoe size).  To tight.  Rip the whole thing out.  Get larger needles.  I has
