The fact that she'd missed pretty much every single one of her final exams hadn't even begun to sink in, yet. At the moment, Nadia was still stuck on "I'm clean! And not in a big hole!" as she let herself collapse onto her bed and shoved her face into her pillow

Furrball ran off to hide under another bed.

Nadia muttered a thank you into the pillow. Then rolled over, spotting the box for the degu.

"Well, at least you took good care of the not-me-thing,"

Walter sat down next to her and leaned in to confide something he wouldn't have told anyone else ever. But he was still stinging from her comment about not noticing her being missing twice.

"I kissed it. Just in case it would make you turn back into you." He shrugged and felt extremely lame. "But it didn't."

Nadia blinked. "Really?" She thought about that for a bit. "That's really sweet. Though kind of weird. You can kiss the real me now, if you want to."

Spending four days in a hole? Meant she'd temporarily lost some of her brain to mouth filter.

There's a groan coming out from beneath Nadia's bed.

And then a bottle of Midnight Hobo rolls out as well.

Nadia groaned back at the groan, and then leaned over to peer under. Around, around, around, around, over, and under, and THROUGH! "There's a dead Jamie under my bed."
