Nadia poked at him again. "No, it's what happened to me. Literally. Steerpike, you know, that kid who looked like Walter until he got half his face burned off? He threw me into a big hole out on the preserve on Sunday night, and I just managed to dig myself free today using Billy's artificial leg, which Steerpike stole and threw at me."
