You know, there is no problem with Valentine's Day in itself. It's a good concept: a day to celebrate love. But when you're single and the only one home because your apartmentmates take afternoon/evening classes and you have to get up every half-hour to recieve another package for them, it can really drive you up and over the wall. Definitely short-story-ify her. That's just dumb.

I'm perfectly willing to be persuaded, some day, that V Day is not a bad holiday, but so far no guy has been willing to make the effort. I must be so daunting. :)

Same here. It's probably because I'm incongruous. I'm a blonde and I can use big words. They expect me to be a ditz, and sometimes I'm not... Then again, it could be my sense of humor; I know it's rather offbeat.

See, what I don't get is that guys get all annoyed about chic flicks and such. Well, I like action movies. What's not to love? *shrug* I just can't figure 'em out.

Me either. I hate 90% of chick flicks. Action and fantasy and comedy (though not stupid comedy, can't stand that) are the genres I enjoy.

Read it! I think this is the best chapter of your MST up till now. As the fic gets worse, the MST gets better. W00t!

I especially liked this part:

Estels’s heart leaped.

[Elrohir: And his stomach danced.
Elladan: His nose ran.
Legolas: His liver twirled.
Aragorn: All of that sounds very painful.
Elrohir: *with a wide grin* More painful than three arrows in the backside? Or about the same?
Elladan: How about as painful as a lobster stuck in your trousers?
Tadan: The best part about Elves has got to be story time with the twins.]

All this (and of course Boz's previous MSTs) have encouraged me to try one of my own. I've finished the first chapter, and it was so much fun! It'll be on BiA or my LJ soon (if I can figure out how to do these cut-thingies. Boz told me once but I'm afraid I forgot *looks sheepish*)
