I need a pre-paid/contract free cell phone. I currently have i-wireless because it was cheaper than the AT&T Go Phone and I earn minutes for shopping at Kroger, which I already do anyway ( Read more... )

IF you'd be interested, I have a phone from MetroPCS you could have for free. I don't know what you're doing for the prepaid now, but I think that for $40 you get unlimited text, calls, and web access. and it's like $15 to activate a used phone... I think. Anyway, if you're interested, let me know. I might be switching to AT&T soonish anyway, for the better coverage! (for when I go up into the mountains, really)

Thanks Ash, I am considering Metro PCS, but I am thinking about just dealing until I am re-employed then I will switch.

I pay $20 every 2 or 3 months and rarely ever use the minutes up. As long as you keep renewing on time, you don't lose the number and they roll over the unused minutes
