I need a pre-paid/contract free cell phone. I currently have i-wireless because it was cheaper than the AT&T Go Phone and I earn minutes for shopping at Kroger, which I already do anyway

I pay $20 every 2 or 3 months and rarely ever use the minutes up. As long as you keep renewing on time, you don't lose the number and they roll over the unused minutes

Yes, texting is .30 of a minute. There is no contract what so ever too.
